Haley is a registered social worker in Ontario. She completed her BSc in Psychology and her MSW at the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

Haley is experienced in providing individual therapy for youth and adults experiencing various issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and attachment, grief/loss, medical trauma, mental health, LGBTQ+ issues, and peer/family conflict. Haley uses a strength-focused, evidence-based therapeutic approach, including elements of Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical-Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Haley strives to create a safe space for clients by practicing through an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens. She is experienced in supporting diverse clients (LGBTQ+, BIPOC, Indigenous Communities) with complex needs by building compassionate, trusting relationships. She is strongly involved in the LGBTQ+ community and familiar with many of the challenges faced by community members, and has special insight for clients within this group.

Haley believes fostering a strong therapeutic alliance between therapist and client is essential to creating a comfortable space for clients to grow. She is known for her gentle, collaborative approach. She strives to assist clients in achieving empowerment and change within themselves, in a supportive and non-judgemental space. Her techniques are client-led and centre the emotional safety of the client to create long-term, positive change.

Haley helps clients to process difficult emotions and experiences, and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors to cultivate well-being now and in the years ahead. She hopes to help her clients develop healthier coping mechanisms, stronger relationships, and a positive self-image. By prioritizing these elements, Haley hopes to help her clients foster long-term resilience and the confidence to handle the inevitable ups and downs of life.

In her spare time, Haley enjoys spending time with family and friends, hosting dinner parties, taking walks outside, playing with her two cats, going to the gym, consuming movies and books, and listening to music. Haley is a strong believer in the power of the mind-body connection and is focused on increasing her knowledge of somatic therapies to complement talk therapy.
